Applications in the prescribed format are invited for filling up the following posts at the National Institute of Siddha on
Direct Recruitment/Deputation Basis:
1.Professor (Maruthuvam)01 post
a. Scale of Pay: Rs.37400-67000 with Grade Pay: Rs.8700 +NPA.
b. Educational Qualification & Experience:
i)PG qualification in Siddha in the concerned subject recognized by CCIM.
ii) 05 years regular service in the Pay scale of 15600-39100 + 7600 or its equivalent as Reader / Associate Professor or incumbent is holding analogous post in the same pay scale
c. Maximum Age limit: 56 years as on last date for receipt of application.
2. Assistant Professor (Pathology):01 Post
a. Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay: Rs.6600+NPA
b. Educational Qualification: Essential M.D. (Pathology) or Post-Graduate Diploma in Pathology.
c. Maximum Age limit: 50 years as on last date for receipt of application.
Assistant Professor (Forensic Medicine):01 Post
a. Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay: Rs.6600+NPA.
b. Educational Qualification:Essential M.D. Forensic Medicine/Forensic Pathology.
c. Maximum Age limit: 50 years as on last date for receipt of application
Assistant Professor (General Medicine / Modern medicine):01 Post
a. Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay: Rs.6600+NPA.
b. Educational Qualification: Essential M.D. (General Medicine)/Internal Medicine or Post-Graduate Diploma in General Medicine.
Experience: Atleast 3 years experience in teaching / Research in the relevant field
c. Maximum Age limit: 50 years as on last date for receipt of application
Assistant Professor ((Physiology):01 Post
a. Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay: Rs. 6600+NPA (NPA is admissible
only for the candidates qualified in B.S.M.S/M.D (Siddha) / M.B.B.S.)
b. Educational Qualification:
i.) Essential M.Sc. (Physiology) , Desirable: M.D. (Physiology).
ii.) Experience atleast 3 years experience in teaching / research in relevant field
Note: In case experienced candidates are not available candidates with 60% aggregate in M.Sc physiology may be considered.
c. Maximum Age limit: 50 years as on last date for receipt of application.
3. Radiologist : 01 post (on deputation basis)
a. Scale of Pay: Rs. 15600 – 39100 with Grade Pay Rs.6600 + NPA.
b. Educational Qualification: Holding analogous post with PG degree in the concerned subject or 5 years regular service in the grade pay of 5400 with PG degree/diploma in concerned subject.
c. Maximum Age limit: 56 years as on last date for receipt of application
4. Lecturer: 02 Posts
a. Scale of Pay: Rs. 15600 – 39100 with Grade Pay Rs.5400 + NPA
b. Educational Qualification:
(i) Degree in Siddha of a recognized University and recognized by CCIM
(ii) PG Degree in Siddha recognized by CCIM with specialization in the concerned subject.
c. Maximum Age Limit: 40 years as on last date for receipt of application.
5. Librarian: 01 post
a. Scale of Pay: Rs.15600 – 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400.
b. Educational Qualification:
Assistant library and information officer having degree in Library science form a recognised university / Institute with 5 years of experience in the post in any government or autonomous organisation.
c. Maximum Age limit: 56 years as on last date for receipt of application
6. Physiotherapist: 01 post
a. Scale of Pay: Rs.9300 – 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200.
b. Educational and other Qualifications required for direct recruits:
Essential qualification:-Degree in Physiotherapy awarded by a recognised Indian university.
Desirable qualification: One year experience of working as physiotherapist in any government or government aided organisation
c. Age limit for direct recruits: Not exceeding 35 years as on the prescribed date of receipt of application (Relaxable upto 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST community and Government / autonomous body employees in accordance with order issued by the central government from time to time)
7. Upper Division Clerk: 01 post
a. Scale of Pay: Rs.5200 – 20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400.
b. Educational qualification required: A degree from a recognized university with 5years administrative experience.
c. Maximum age: 36 years as on last date for receipt of application
